Une plateforme afro-caribéenne du tourisme et de la culture.
An Afro-Caribbean platform for tourism & culture, founded in 2023.
Who We Are
Tap Tap Destinations is a platform at the intersection of tourism, culture, heritage, history, experiences, creative economy, communities and diaspora.
“A destination is not only visited. It is discovered, understood, experienced and shared.”
Our Mission
Connect destinations, cultures, heritage, communities, tourism professionals, cultural actors, creators and travelers while helping Afro-Caribbean territories become better discovered, understood, experienced and valued.
Our Vision
A trusted reference where people come not only to find where to go, but to understand what makes a place meaningful — and to connect with the people who keep its culture alive.
Meet the Founder
Christophe Luckner is a Haitian professional working across tourism, culture, heritage and the museum sector. He founded Tap Tap Destinations in 2023.
He served as Head of Education and Animation at the Musée du Panthéon National Haïtien (MUPANAH), working in education, cultural mediation and heritage engagement, and has curated exhibitions and museum projects in Haiti.
In December 2021, he took part in a workshop in Cuba on transforming historic buildings into museums or cultural centres, serving as rapporteur for the “Museum or Cultural Center” session. He has also completed heritage protection training with IBERMUSEOS.
Africa, Caribbean & Diaspora
Haiti is our founding destination and cultural anchor. The platform is built to grow progressively across the Caribbean, Africa and the diaspora communities of North America and Europe — adding destinations as they are researched and verified by our team.
Our Cultural Commitment
We present cultures with respect and context, credit the people who carry them, and avoid stereotypes. Information on the platform is published only when it can be verified.
